Full Sneak

Full Sneak

From the The Fortune Teller Bar, St. Louis comes the Full Sneak. It's a whiskey highball topped with ginger, lemon and port wine. This one is so refreshing. Perfect for the hot summer days to come. And that's also how we tried to style the drink adding both a pretty flower as well as a seagull. We think whiskey and ginger pair particularly well. There are quite a few recipes out there taking full advantage of this successful combination. Most of them are regular cocktails though, so we thought

Shipwrecked

Shipwrecked

The Shipwrecked cocktail by Raffi Jergerian might be more of an autumn cocktail. But we gladly made it also now during spring as it's anyway such a delicious cocktail. With both rum and cinnamon syrup in the ingredients list this is kind of a tiki cocktail, minus the traditional tiki styling and garnishing. What might look like a simple cocktail when served turns out to be a quite complex flavor experience. The rum paired with the scotch, accompanied by cinnamon and sweet Drambuie surely creat

Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique

Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique

The Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique cocktail might sound a bit violent (referring to the death blow in Kill Bill). And sure, this mezcal based drink is both characteristic, messy and loud - but in the most wonderful of ways! Mellowing that mezcal a bit is what the coffee liqueur in the recipe is doing. And this was the perfect opportunity for us to try out Conkerspirit's [https://www.conkerspirit.co.uk/] Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur. This is a premium product made with Brazilian and Ethio

Two Coupes Detour

We are just back in Sweden after a very inspirational week in Washington DC and New York City. During our journey we had the pleasure of meeting up with @twocoupes [https://www.instagram.com/twocoupes/] Tiff & Joe, at the gorgeous @macebarnyc [https://www.instagram.com/macebarnyc/] sipping through their entire cocktail menu. Mattias, Joakim, Tiffany & Joe at Mace Bar in New York City. Both Tiff and Joe are super enthusiastic about cocktails which their account is excellent proof of. They mig

Blank Slate

Blank Slate

The Blank Slate by Sean Hord is a Jägermeister driven cocktail. Also in the mix are grapefruit juice, lemon juice, pear brandy and ginger syrup! Basically a flavour explosion you will not forget very soon It tastes really delicious. It's herbal, bitter, stingy, sour and sweet - all at once. The silky look of the cocktail further enhance the impression this cocktail makes. Also our excitement for this vintage Woodmet tray is big. We've seen quite a few varietes of these trays (made in the 1980s

Analogue's Gin & Juice

Analogue's Gin & Juice

The Gin & Juice from Analogue in NYC is a very refreshing yet elegant cocktail. Gin and grapefruit combined equals a pretty bitter cocktail, but it's freshened up by sweet maraschino and sour lemon. This is actually a great spring cocktail, and a solid gin drink. We used pink grapefruit juice rather than regular, as we only had that on hand. It gave the cocktail a pretty colour without altering the flavour too much. Analogue's Gin & Juice Recipe Ingredients: 2 oz gin 0,5 oz maraschino liqueu

Sloe And Unsteady

Sloe And Unsteady

Sloe Gin is so colorful, and always fun to use because of that. So when we saw the Sloe And Unsteady by Jessica Sanders in Imbibe Magazine we needed to try out the recipe. When the slightly sweet sloe gin is combined with bitter Fernet a really interesting cocktail emerges. Apparently this is one of the bestsellers at Drink well in Austin, and we totally see why! Sloe And Unsteady Recipe Ingredients: 1,5 oz sloe gin 0,5 oz Fernet-Branca 0,5 oz lime juice 0,5 oz honey syrup 2 dashes Angostura

Foreign National

Foreign National

This cocktail is smooth as velvet. It's probably the combination of citrus juice, honey and orange flower water that create this shiny texture, making the cocktail look very appetizing. The drink is called Foreign National, and it is composed by Adam Fortuna and Eric Johnson. Always fun to use pisco we think. It's a relatively neutral spirit and because of that it works pretty well with several different mixers. This cocktail is both sour and bitter, and truly enjoyable! Foreign National Reci
