La Florida

La Florida

This is just a solid Daiquiri riff, adding chocolate and sweet vermouth to the iconic mix - plus tiny amounts of curaçao and grenadine. It works so well, and this cocktail is so full of flavour! Recipe adapted by Constantino Ribalaigua Vert (from Trader Vic’s Rum Cookery & Drinkery) Ingredients: 1 oz white rum 1 oz fresh lime juice 0,5 oz sweet vermouth 0,25 oz white crème de cacao 1 tsp. curaçao 1 tsp. grenadine Mixing: Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a chilled c

A Swedish Eye

A Swedish Eye

It's kind of a Negroni riff this one, and it's made using only ingredients produced in Sweden. Yellow Eye [https://www.yelloweyespirits.com/] is a coffee infused rum liqueur. It has a quite noticeable coffee tone which we find so likable. We've always thought coffee flavour goes well in Negronis, so after tasting the Yellow Eye liqueur neat we immediately thought about using it in a Negroni. Spriteriet's [https://spriteriet.se/new-index] rosé vermouth has a bittersweet tone to it that we r

Kalevala's [https://www.kalevalagin.com/gin] new ruby gin is quite something. It's infused with blueberries and cranberries, giving the gin a refreshing berry flavour as well as an intense ruby red colour. To further play on the products Finnish roots, we chose to mix it with sea buckthorn juice. It's quite acidic but it has a certain elegant sweetness to it as well. The lemon in the mix paired with the simple syrup balances everything quite nicely. We actually made this drink a few days ago,

When Marius over at Ginfluencers posted this recipe a few months ago we knew we needed to try it. Sloe gin is a fantastic product, adding both taste, colour and a bit of elegance to any cocktail. Complemented in this recipe only by two types of vermouth and a tiny amount of bitters shows how simple it can be to make an intriguing, eye-catching and most of all tasty cocktail. It's a solid recipe, and we urge you to try it. Recipe by Ginfluencers [https://www.instagram.com/ginfluencers/] Ing

Rhubarb Gimlet

Rhubarb Gimlet

A week ahead before mixing this, a good amount of finely chopped (but uncooked) rhubarbs are added to a bottle of gin. Let it sit for 5-7 days, and move it around a bit daily. The gin picks up a surprisingly large amount of flavour from the rhubarbs, and on top of that also a lot of gorgeous pink colour. Thanks Mathin Lundgren [https://www.instagram.com/mathinlundgren/] for suggestion this way of infusing. The infused gin is then used in a classic Gimlet. Kind of a gin sour which is fantasti

South Sea Dipper

South Sea Dipper

We simply needed to feature our tiki fish mug again, it's been such a long time! And what better drink to fill it with than the South Sea Dipper!? What we particularly like about this drink is its fresh taste of exotic passion fruit, paired with three type of rums. Then it doesn't hurt that we love pineapple juice in drinks, and blending drinks with ice and everything is so cool during hot summer days. Recipe adapted by Paul McGee Ingredients: 1 oz white rum 0,5 oz aged rum 0,5 oz unaged

We love how this recipe combines Suze and akvavit, two rather distinct spirits, quite potent on their own. But thanks to the other sweet ingredients in the drink, it ends up super pleasant with a bittersweet note and a lovely yellow colour. Recipe by Florian Dubois Ingredients: 0,75 oz Suze 0,75 oz akvavit 0,66 oz lemon juice 0,5 oz Cocchi Americano Bianco 0,33 oz Maraschino liqueur Mixing: Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a chilled coupe. When there is cherry liqueur in a drink, we almost feel obliged to garnish with maraschino cherries. This time we wrapped it with lemon zest, for that extra flair. The cocktail itself is a fun one. Genever, combined with Cherry Heering, lemon juice and sugar make rust red drink with many layers of flavour, the star of course being the Danish cherry liqueur. Recipe by Gromit Eduardsen Ingredients: 1,66 oz genever 0,66 oz Cherry Heering 0,66 oz lime juice 0,33 oz simple syrup 1 dash Ango
