Garibaldo

Garibaldo

This is a fantastic drink now when the days get hotter. Fresh orange juice is delicious on its own, but the addition of Giffard Bitter [https://caskcompany.se/product/giffard-bitter-1l/] gives it almost cocktail attributes, minus the alcohol of course.⁣ ⁣ Also this was the perfect excuse to once again show off our vintage mint green juicer. Quite gorgeous on its own don't you think?⁣ Garibaldo Recipe for a mocktail Garibaldi Ingredients: 1,5 oz Giffard bitter⁣ 4 oz ultra fresh orange juice⁣

Seeing yellow Chartreuse in a recipe always makes us happy. Less known/used compared to its green sibling, yellow Chartreuse is a smooth and less alcohol strong herbal liqueur that goes well in many cocktails.⁣ ⁣ It's now been almost a year since we bought our vintage glass camel stirrer, and we still haven't found just the right shoot to use it in. Now we figured we can't wait anymore so here we go, without any reasonable connection to the recipe itself, this cocktail is gently stirred with a

When Steve of @boxesandbooze [https://www.instagram.com/boxesandbooze/] told us he had a puzzle box by a Swedish cabinet maker to showcase, and that he wanted to find a cocktail to pair it with we couldn't resist but to help in the search.⁣ ⁣ Because that's what Steve does, both on Instagram and on his blog. He pairs collectable hand made puzzle boxes with cocktails, and his approach is both unique and fascinating. And he certainly finds the most exquisite boxes, little pieces of art and craft

Gin & Tonic

Gin & Tonic

We are finally trying out the color changing Illusionist Gin [https://theillusionist-gin.de/] in a classic Gin & Tonic. Pouring up the intense blue/purple gin is so intriguing. We think it’s nice to do this straight over ice-cubes in a highball glass. ⁣ ⁣ Then when the tonic water is added the magic happens. The color of the gin changes from blue to pink the more tonic water you add. We topped up the glass and ended up with the most lovely pale pink colored drink, making a very visual impact.⁣

The Rosé Bouquet

The Rosé Bouquet

When we were challenged to use rosé wine in a cocktail we immediately started to search for a good recipe. It turns out there are actually lots of them and in the end we had a hard time picking only one. “The Rosé Bouquet” we chose for two reasons; it has grapefruit juice in it which we love, and we happened to have a bouquet of tulips at home making the prefect side garnish for this drink.⁣ ⁣ There's a certain dryness to rosé wine that makes it work pretty well as a cocktail ingredient. It's

We thought this recipe sounded so elegant just by reading it, so we of course had to make it. And the result does not disappoint at all, this is a luxurious serve.⁣ ⁣ We accentuated the elegance not⁣ by garnishing the drink itself, but rather the surrounding with a few sleek straws of grass, and we choose simple coupes to pour the drink in.⁣ ⁣ We really liked the boozy taste as well as the golden colour of this drink. The perfect spring serve!⁣ Pins and Needles Recipe by Jonathan Lind Ingred

⁣ After seeing this recipe over at Cocktailpodden [https://www.instagram.com/cocktailpodden/] we knew we needed to try it with our Belsazar Riesling vermouth. There's something enchanting about recipes like this, with only two ingredients.⁣ ⁣ The Riesling vermouth really got its chance to shine here, backed up only by delicious maraschino liqueur, and of course garnished with a maraschino cherry and some tiny flowers.⁣ ⁣ We enjoyed this drink a lot. It is dry in a rather subtle way, while ther

Champagne Cobbler

Champagne Cobbler

Crushing ice with a mallet is wonderful! There's something quite powerful about the feeling when those large ice cubes get crushed, and you're left almost with snow.⁣ ⁣ Using that crushed ice in a Champagne Cobbler is perfect. It is a super simple cocktail, yet a good way of turning sparkling wine even more exciting and exquisite.⁣ ⁣ Orange liqueur is something we've always enjoyed. In this recipe only a tiny amount is used, however you can still really taste it - and it adds a nice base flavo
