Cider is a good way of lowering the alcohol by volume while still keeping the drink festive and sparkling.⁣ ⁣ The cranberry cordial is easy to make. The Bitter Note [https://lp.thebitternote.com/en/] is an Italian bitter liqueur that is completely alcohol free. It is made with several different botanicals, and it is similar in taste to many of the Italian amari that we like so much.⁣ ⁣ When mixing with this product we also wanted to keep the completed cocktail alcohol free. This cocktail caught our attention because it mixes tequila and calvados, which we thought was a bit unusual. And as there's also favourite liqueur - allspice dram - in it we had to give it a go.⁣ ⁣ It ends up being a drink bursting with flavour. We love orgeat. It's such a cool sweetener as it is not only sweet, but also nutty, and it has this velvety texture. ⁣ ⁣ Using it in the Upper Crust cocktail is perfect. Two of our favorite ingredients are in this drink, cherry liqueur and amaro Montenegro. Both originate from old recipes, and they have been around for a long time. Hence, there's something rather poetic about mixing them together, and enjoying them combined in this drink.⁣ ⁣ The only downside of these ingredients is that they are not that rich in colour.
