When Matthias [https://www.instagram.com/servedbysoberon/] posted this drink some time ago we just immediately felt the urge to re-shake it. We love that the cocktail contains both mezcal as well as an amaro and on top of that our all time favourite green bottle - Chartreuse. And as always when Matthias is behind the specs, the drink tastes phenomenal! Cheers and enjoy your Sunday! Transcendence Recipe by Matthias Soberon Ingredients: 1,5 oz mezcal 0,5 oz amaro Nonino 0,75 oz lime juice

Terra Linda

Terra Linda

Today we present yet another recipe by bartender superstar Madeleine Solo Rapp. Terra Linda is a smoky and slightly bittersweet cocktail that makes us feel very elegant drinking it. The deep red colour is quite striking, it is indeed a visual cocktail. But we do believe you also drink with your eyes. We don't use Dubonnet (a kind of fortified wine) very often, but in this drink it shows why it's defending its shelf space in our home bar. Skål! Terra Linda Recipe by Madeleine Solo Rap

Speaking in Tongues

Speaking in Tongues

Seeing Candide at the Royal Swedish Opera a few weeks ago was fantastic. It's a comic opera, and there was no shortage of funny costumes and surprising lyrics. But we just couldn't resist bringing a flask cocktail. This one by Chris Hannah is absolutely delicious, and it worked well as a pre-batched drink. We've always liked the combination of tequila and mezcal, and in here the added amaro and coffee tones really complement the whole experience. The glass? It's collapsable and it fits any

Hasse

Hasse

This is another cocktail we created with the new coffee gin from Skånska Spritfabriken [https://spritfabriken.com/] - a Swedish distiller. As there is actually quite a lot of coffee flavour in the gin we didn't want to mix it with too overpowering ingredients. However the bitterness of Campari worked very well, and as we had infused the Campari with coffee it only further elevated the flavors of the gin. A perfect sipper for those into coffee, like ourselves. Hasse Recipe by Cocktail Detour

Peat's Dragon

Peat's Dragon

Scotch and mezcal combined in the same drink is not that common, and that's the exakt reason this recipe caught our attention. We really like how tasty it turned out, sipping this drink was pure enjoyment. We served it in heavy, ice-cold rocks glasses for that extra luxurious feel . . . and it worked! Peat's Dragon Recipe by Kyle Jones Ingredients: 1,5 oz scotch 1 oz mezcal 0,5 oz fino sherry 0,5 oz agave syrup 0,25 oz fresh lemon juice Mixing: Combine all of the ingredients in a sha

Meet me in the Morning

Meet me in the Morning

Sure, it's not really morning when we post this. But this cocktail can certainly be enjoyed also at evening time. It is of course the coffee liqueur, and the serving in cups that justify the cocktail's name. The coffee liqueur mixes very well with the walnut liqueur. Both have quite distinct flavour profiles on their own, but they still play very well together in the same cocktail. So, good morning, and cheers! Meet me in the Morning Recipe by Kyle Jones Ingredients: 1 oz dry gin 1 oz

This is another gem from one of Frederic Yarm's [https://www.instagram.com/fredericyarm/] recipe packed cocktail books. It was probably the Swedish punsch in the recipe that caught our interest, along with the cream sherry which is an ingredient we like a lot. Battle Over Dutch Recipe from Merril & Co Ingredients: 1 oz cream sherry 1 oz Swedish punsch 0,5 oz cacao liqueur 0,5 oz lemon juice Mixing: Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and fine strain into a coupe. This is the other cocktail Madeleine Solo Rapp [https://www.instagram.com/madeleinesolorapp/] had during her first visit to Attaboy in NYC. It is somehow similar to the one we posted the day before yesterday, but this one has both an amaro as well as maraschino liqueur in it. From the photo of the handwritten recipe that Madeleine posted we couldn't really see what type of glassware this drink was meant to be served in. We went with thin rocks glasses, and thought it worked pretty well! Th
