This price winning cocktail is pretty amazing. First of all, it combines rum and beer! And as if that wasn't enough there's also coffee liqueur and sherry in the mix.⠀ Having your mum try this cocktail is a lot of fun. At first she's scared . . . because there's dark beer in it and she only likes light beer. But then on the other hand she's been to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin Ireland, thoroughly enjoying the experience. On top of that she really likes all things coffee, and rum happens

We thought this recipe sounded so elegant just by reading it, so we of course had to make it. And the result does not disappoint at all, this is a luxurious serve.⁣ ⁣ We accentuated the elegance not⁣ by garnishing the drink itself, but rather the surrounding with a few sleek straws of grass, and we choose simple coupes to pour the drink in.⁣ ⁣ We really liked the boozy taste as well as the golden colour of this drink. The perfect spring serve!⁣ Pins and Needles Recipe by Jonathan Lind Ingred

This cocktail caught our attention because it mixes tequila and calvados, which we thought was a bit unusual. And as there's also favourite liqueur - allspice dram - in it we had to give it a go.⁣ ⁣ It ends up being a drink bursting with flavour. The allspice liqueur is of course really noticeable, despite its small quantity. The semi dry sherry helps bridging the allspice with the calvados, and the tequila hoovers above everything in the most elegant way.⁣ ⁣ A true little gem this cocktail is

We enjoy low ABV drinks that are still very much interesting, elegant and tasty. Bamboo is one of these cocktails, made with sherry and vermouth. It creates a dry but uplifting drink that you will definitely enjoy sipping on. We served this cocktail in new glassware. Not really coupes, rather tiny rocks glasses. We thought they were quite stunning when we found them in a charity shop. Bamboo Recipe adapted by Difford's Guide Ingredients: 1,5 oz fino sherry 1 oz sweet vermouth 0,75 oz dry verm

The Seville

An interesting cocktail made with gin, sherry and Lillet. A gorgeous combination creating a beautiful drink. We think it’s a ”clean” cocktail as you can actually taste all three individual liquid ingredients in the final result. The herbal gin, the dry fruit from the sherry and the slight flowery sweetness from the Lillet. The Seville Recipe by Nick Mautone Ingredients: 0,5 oz fino sherry 2 oz gin 0,75 oz Lillet Blanc 2 dashes orange bitters 2 orange twists Mixing: Start by rinsing a chilled

So, how's everybody doing now a few days after Christmas? We had a great time, celebrating with our families. Now there are a few “normal” days before New Years Eve and we thought a coffee cocktail, in the style of a world famous cream liqueur would be fitting. Sidekick Cold Brew Coffee [https://sidekickcoldbrew.se/] is new Swedish brand making cold brew coffee and also turning it into concentrate. We started by tasting it natural, and it has a distinct and very pleasant coffee flavour. Not too

We continue loving low ABV sherry cocktails, also during winter. The suggested type of sherry for this cocktail is Palo Cortado, which is style-wise in between fino and oloroso. Now we didn’t have this bottle on hand so we used amontillado sherry instead - which we think worked fine. (There was a very interesting post about Palo Cortado sherry from Matthias over at @servedbysoberon some month ago). What we think is so likable about sherry is that it somehow creates this luxurious ”Cognac-feelin

When we got the chance to try the Haig Club Single Grain Scotch Whisky we wanted to put it to maximum test. It’s supposed to be the perfect whisky for ”non whisky drinkers” which we thought sounded pretty cool. Also we were told that the Haig Club mixes well in several different kind of cocktails, and we couldn’t resist creating an original cocktail. So here we are pairing it with semi sweet sherry, herbal Chartreuse and orange driven Grand Marnier. This results in a sophisticated but focused c
