Strawberry Daiquiri (JL Remix)

Strawberry Daiquiri (JL Remix)

With this strawberry daiquiri we bid our last farewell to the summer. It's definitely autumn in Sweden now, but through cocktails you can always travel - both through seasons and through the world. This strawberry daiquiri is elevated to the next level thanks to an addition of sherry. It helps balancing the sweet notes of the cocktail, and it goes really well with strawberries. A tiny pinch of salt and pepper adds a spicy tone to the drink which once again is perfect to counter the sweetness

Using apple brandy and Calvados is a great way when you want to create those summery cocktails. The apple flavour is very refreshing, at the same time maintaining that stiffness we often want from a cocktail. Now there are quite a few ingredients in this one, but most are only added in small amounts. It's still vary much the apple brandy defining the drink. We actually swapped the apple juice and the honey syrup for an Apple, Honey & Lemon still drink from The Soho Juice co [https://sohoju

The Joanna

The Joanna

Our Saturday afternoon cocktail is made with elderflower liqueur from Spriteriet [https://spriteriet.se/] - produced very close to where we live. It has e very natural and refreshing flavour - it tastes a lot of elderflower! In this drink, called the Johanna, vodka is the base. It is unusual for us to fall for these type of drinks, but we thought neutral vodka was perfect to pair the premium elderflower with. And so it was! The drink became just as refreshing as we'd hoped for. A good sum

With tequila leading the way, the characteristic Suze is still able to put its watermark on this cocktail. We love the combination, and think the yellow/golden colour of the drink is so fitting for summer. Bending Blades Recipe by Christopher Day Ingredients: 1,5 oz silver tequila 0,5 oz Suze 0,5 oz Manzanilla sherry 0,75 oz grapefruit liqueur Mixing: Stir all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a coupe. Banana Calling

Banana Calling

Seeing banana liqueur in cocktails never fails to have us intrigued. Being frowned upon during the 80s and 90s - banana liqueur as of today can actually be a high quality ingredient, adding both an exotic taste and a nice balanced sweetness. Banana Calling Recipe found via Difford’s Guide Ingredients: 1,5 oz gin 0,25 oz banana liqueur 0,25 oz fino sherry 0,75 oz fresh lemon juice 0,25 oz simple syrup Mixing: Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a Nick & Nora glass. Gla

There's a lot of depth to this cocktail. The nutty features of both amaretto and apricot hug the rye in a rather wonderful way. The two sherrys complement nicely with their earthy flavors and lower ABV. Padrino Recipe by Daniel Schofield Ingredients: 1,25 oz rye 0,5 oz amaretto 0,25 oz oloroso sherry 0,25 oz fino sherry a barspoon of apricot brandy 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters Mixing: Stir all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Glassware: r

Le Meilleur

Le Meilleur

When Damien Lemercier visited the Corner Club bar in Stockholm some time ago he served us one of the best cocktails we've ever had - The Meilleur. The drink is made with verjus, which is basically grape juice. Damien used a clear one, but at home we could only get verjus made with red grapes (from Mattias's parents home), hence our cocktail turned out much more colorful compared to Damien's. It still tastes fantastic though! That sour verjus combined with the rum and the pandan-infused dry
