This is a very elegant tequila cocktail, that we decided to further dress up with some vintage cocktail picks and brandied cherries. It was the two limes that caught our interest in this recipe. It's kind of an imprecise measurement, but it's anyway a lot of lime! So it's no surprise that this drink turns out quite sour, especially when also the orange juice is added. That big amount of chocolate liqueur however, counters the acidity pretty well. Always excited to make chocolate cocktails. In this one there is just a touch of it though, so it certainly doesn't overwhelm the cocktail. We might have placed it on a rubber snake, but apart from that there is nothing winding about this cocktail. Because the Baudouine, created by Gino Pellarin is a very straightforward drink despite its many ingredients. The result is so delicious! The chocolaty notes really shine through, mixing very well with the dry sherry and the aromatic tequila. This is one of those cocktails you wanna sip slowly on, enjoying for a long while.
