Melon liqueur is a divider. Much too sweet and artificial some say, exotic and delicious other say.

We're probably caught in between those opinions. But we really wanted to give this drink a chance, as it also includes vodka and pineapple juice - that we don't use too often.

After shaking and pouring, you are left with a stunning looking drink if you ask us. The pineapple juice creates a nice fluffy foam on top of the drink, and the intense yellow color makes the drink look very tempting.

But…no, the taste is tough for us…

The neutral vodka in combination with pineapple and melon - it tastes a bit like it does when you accidentally chew on aluminum foil. A bit chemical, a bit indescribable. We debated if we should even post the drink in our feeds, but decided to do so as we still think the drink looks so nice on photo.

Is this a drink you would appreciate? We'd love to get the debate going as our opinion might be very different from others. Let us know if you have tried this drink.

Clear ice is denser and melts more slowly, keeping your drink colder for longer without diluting its

A Spirit(ual) Journey Throughout the North of Sweden

It has always been on our wishlist, to tour the more northern parts of Sweden. Our interest in spirits and cocktails have taken us to many places in Sweden and abroad, but until now not really more north than Uppsala. Well this just changed, as we got the chance to pay a visit to gin producer Norrbottens Destilleri. And this was just the start of five fantastic days, driving between so many beautiful spots. Norrbottens Destilleri Töre, close to Kalix, is where Norrbottens Destilleri produce the
