Conan the Rhubarbian

The name of this cocktail is enough reason to make it. But apart from that it is also well worth doing because it's a really delicious drink. To us it has summer written all over it thanks to that rhubarb in it. What we thought was extra exciting was how the rhubarb is combined with semi bitter Aperol. It turns out those two were pretty much meant to be in the same glass. This recipe is absolutely fantastic and we urge you to try it. Conan the Rhubarbian Recipe by Oskar Kinberg Ingredient

With tequila leading the way, the characteristic Suze is still able to put its watermark on this cocktail. We love the combination, and think the yellow/golden colour of the drink is so fitting for summer. Bending Blades Recipe by Christopher Day Ingredients: 1,5 oz silver tequila 0,5 oz Suze 0,5 oz Manzanilla sherry 0,75 oz grapefruit liqueur Mixing: Stir all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a coupe. Wow are we excited to try this brand new Swedish gin! On the island of Gotland Hellström Gin [https://www.hellstromgin.com/] is made, using local botanicals and it sure tells in the result. The gin is clean and crisp, but still has character from those botanicals. We love this style of gin as it goes so well in cocktails. Here we are trying it in a classic Pendennis, which we chose as it is a recipe that really lets the gin in it shine. Also that apricot brandy and the bitters give the cockt

The bitterness from grapefruit is perfectly balanced with sweetness from honey syrup and sourness from lemon in this otherwise bourbon-driven classic. We think these universal formula recipes are so intriguing. Switching out just the spirit, or the syrup, or the juice will create a different but most likely delicious drink. But we have to say, this version with bourbon is pretty much pure perfection! Brown Derby Classic recipe Ingredients: 2 oz bourbon 1 oz grapefruit juice 1 teaspoo

We've mentioned this before - but we love the smoothness orgeat brings to whatever cocktail it's used in. Here it is mixed with luxurious Cognac and also some rum. The sweet and nutty orgeat complements those spirits so well, and the squeeze of fresh lemon juice helps freshen things up. This is a perfect summer highball. We couldn't resist having our favourite crisps with it - peanut rings. St. Stephen's Sour Recipe by Jeffrey Morgenthaler Ingredients: 1 oz Cognac 1 oz aged rum 0,75 oz

So we were quite excited when Rubis Blanc [https://www.instagram.com/rubisblancspirit/] asked us if we wanted to make a cocktail with their white whiskey. As we always do we new spirits, we taste it completely natural at first, not mixed in any way. And the very first sip of this transparent whiskey reminded us so much of an elegant Cognac… …hence we quickly decided we wanted to do a Sidecar riff. We used Rubis Blanc instead of Cognac, and we used home-made rhubarb syrup instead of regular si

Combining “regular” scotch with a really smoky one combines the best of both scotch worlds. You get the smoothness and roundness plus a hint of that burnt smokiness that we appreciate so much. The fresh mint brightens up everything here, adding a vegetal touch that's both refreshing and even a bit up-lifting. Smoke and Mirrors Recipe by Alex Day Ingredients: 4 mint leaves 0,75 oz simple syrup 1 oz scotch 0,5 oz smoky scotch 0,75 oz fresh lime juice 2 dashes absinthe Mixing: In a sha

Mixing only two ingredients can still create an awesome cocktail. In this one we're using only local products, Calvados from Kiviks Musteri [https://www.kiviksmusteri.se/sv/vara-produkter/calvados/calvados/] and Orange Vermouth from Spriteriet [https://spriteriet.se/] - both super Swedish. We immediately appreciated the spring vibes this cocktail had going. The apples in the Calvados combined with the unique orange vermouth create this mellow drink, which still has quite the bite thanks to th
