Cobble Stone Highball

This drink we made last summer, but for some reason it didn't get posted back then. When we stumbled upon the photos now, a strong urge for summer appeared.

Because this is quite a cooling and quenching drink. As it's made with amaro, sherry and sparkling wine it is fairly low-ABV, and if served over ice cubes like we did it is a super refreshing cocktail.

Using sherry as a base in cocktails is something we really like. There is a certain dryness to sherry (especially fino) that we enjoy and appreciate. It's a lot of fun, and fairly easy, to build different kind of cocktails around this specifik ingredient.

While summer may still be far away, here in Sweden we're slowly moving towards spring. There is still some snow left, and new might very well fall, but nevertheless, soon it's summer again!

Clear ice has become a hallmark of professional mixology, elevating drinks in both aesthetics and functionality. Unlike cloudy ice, clear ice is free of impurities and air bubbles, offering a pristine, glass-like appearance that enhances the visual appeal of any cocktail. But it's not just about looks. Clear ice is denser and melts more slowly, keeping your drink colder for longer without diluting its

A Spirit(ual) Journey Throughout the North of Sweden

It has always been on our wishlist, to tour the more northern parts of Sweden. Our interest in spirits and cocktails have taken us to many places in Sweden and abroad, but until now not really more north than Uppsala. Well this just changed, as we got the chance to pay a visit to gin producer Norrbottens Destilleri. And this was just the start of five fantastic days, driving between so many beautiful spots. Norrbottens Destilleri Töre, close to Kalix, is where Norrbottens Destilleri produce the
