We love how this recipe highlights Byrrh, an aromatised wine-based apéritif that is excellent in cocktails. Combining it with orange is even more fantastic and the flavors play so well together.

1,5 oz dry vermouth
0,75 oz Byrrh
0,5 oz orange liqueur
2 dashes orange bitters
Stir all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a lowball glass. Garnish with an orange peel.

We are always drawn to complex cocktails like this one. Luxury Cognac, an interesting vermouth and then a high quality absinthe. This is what makes cocktails so cool! But despite the many potent ingredients, this cocktail is surprisingly harmonic. The amount of absinthe used is just the right not to overwhelm, but still be much present and noticeable.
