Bella's Sour

Bella's Sour

Our good friend Bella makes her own sloe liqueur. And she very generously offered us a sample of it - that we just had to turn into a sour.

And just look at the colour the cocktail gets! Those sloe berries know how to make an impact - and that goes not only for the colour but also for the flavour. Bella got the perfect balance of sweet and sour in her liqueur, which to us is crucial in fruit- and berry based blends. Thank you so much Bella for the most lovingly made sample ever!

And talking about goodies, the Kokoro Gin that we're using in the drink is a stunner on its own. Inspired by Japan it offers the crispness and dryness that we appreciate so much in these type of slightly posh cocktails.

Clear ice is denser and melts more slowly, keeping your drink colder for longer without diluting its

A Spirit(ual) Journey Throughout the North of Sweden

It has always been on our wishlist, to tour the more northern parts of Sweden. Our interest in spirits and cocktails have taken us to many places in Sweden and abroad, but until now not really more north than Uppsala. Well this just changed, as we got the chance to pay a visit to gin producer Norrbottens Destilleri. And this was just the start of five fantastic days, driving between so many beautiful spots. Norrbottens Destilleri Töre, close to Kalix, is where Norrbottens Destilleri produce the
